John Gibel
John Gibel of Grindstone, Pa., died on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, 2002, in UPMC, Pittsburgh, Pa. His parents, Adam and Mary Gibel, and his wife, Mary Hovanec Gibel, preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children: Dolores, Lorraine and Johnny all of Ohio; and a brother-in-law, Paul Hovanec, Grindstone, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 p.m.
A Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 18, at 9 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone, with Rev. Fr. John A. Sedlak as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
