John S. Conard, 83, of Blainesburg, Pa., a Carpenter for the former Lincoln Homes in Elizabeth, Pa., United States Navy Veteran who served in World War II with a Patrol Squadron, and was born in Albany, Pa., died on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, 2002, in Brownsville General Hospital, Brownsville, Pa. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ethel Antal Conard; children: Jean Conard Ekis and John Allen Conard and his wife, Wanda, all from Denbeau Heights, Pa.; grandchildren: Michele Merico of California, Pa., John Allen Conard Jr. and his wife, Tonya, of Carmichaels, Pa., Marsha Conard of Brownsville, Pa., and Robert Conard of Denbeau Heights; one great granddaughter and three great grandsons.

The Family will receive Friends in the Confer Funeral Home, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa., tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, June 19, from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.
