June 17, 2002 The following people were recently sentenced in Fayette County Court. Sentences for driving under the influence (DUI) involve a period of license suspension and generally require participation in the county’s Alcohol Safe Driving School and participation in the Ignition Interlock Program once the license is returned.

Gary Michael Phillips, 43, of Brownfield was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 30 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.
Brian Allen Hixon, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to 11 1/2 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 90 days to be served at an approved and accredited inpatient treatment facility for DUI. On a second case he was sentenced to 12 months Intermediate Punishment, the first three months to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring, sentence to run consecutively for receiving stolen property.
Ronald Edwin Rainey, 51, of Belle Vernon was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Edwin James Parkinson, 21, of Mill Run was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Brian Keith Lint, 45, of Perryopolis was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Curtis Marvin Barnes II, 30, of Uniontown was sentenced on two cases involving DUI charges. On the first case he was sentenced to 11 1/2 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 12 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring. On the second he was sentenced to 11 1/2 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 30 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring with the sentences to run consecutively.
Elmer Ray Wiles Jr., 45, of Uniontown was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Douglas Hester, 34, of West Valley, W.Va., was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Ronald Terry Bailey Jr., 32, of Uniontown was sentenced on two cases of DUI. On each case he was sentenced to 90 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison with the sentences to run consecutively.
Mack Tyrone Simms Jr., 30, of Donora was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 30 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.
Christopher Scott Honse, 30, of Uniontown was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Charles Edward Leporte, 72, of Connellsville was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 12 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.
Christopher Carmine Mongeluzzo, 38, of Uniontown was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 12 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.
Charles William Sigwalt, 44, of Republic was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, the first 30 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle.
James M. Gibson, 41, of New Salem was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months Intermediate Punishment for DUI.
Lester A. Young, 36, of Morgantown, W.Va., was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison and ordered to make restitution of $50 to the Point Marion Police Department for DUI.
Kevin Dwayne Guthrie, 42, of Fairchance was sentenced to 12 months probation for simple assault.
Robin M. Brown, 22, of Uniontown was sentenced to 30 days probation and ordered to make restitution of $90 to the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab in Greensburg for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Randolph Scott McIndoe, 42, of Mount Pleasant was sentenced to 12 months probation for indecent exposure.
Glenn Thomas Settles, 41, of Allison was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to make restitution of $250 to Joseph Monovich of Brownsville for receiving stolen property.
Clifford Ray Prinkey, 33, of Mill Run was sentenced to 12 months probation for indecent exposure.
Christopher Eugene Jacobs, 22, of Uniontown was sentenced to nine to 24 months in a state correctional institution for possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.
Janice Lorraine Bozich, 37, of Donora was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to make restitution of $193.20 to Thomas Deitz of Stockdale, Pa. and $794.96 to Central Tax Bureau for theft by failure to make required disposition of funds.

Bruce Edward Fitzgerald, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Howard Ray Fordyce, 38, of Ohiopyle, 23 months Intermediate Punishment with the first 30 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.

Douglas Ray Mosako Jr., 25, of Smithfield, to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison, to run consecutively for DUI.
Michael Anthony Alborg, 29, of New Salem, 23 months Intermediate Punishment, first 30 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.
Jason Christopher Hatter, 23, of Dunbar, on two cases of indecent exposure and one case of disorderly conduct. On the first case, 1 year probation; the second, six months probation; the third, six months probation, to run consecutively for a total of two years probation.
Kevin Wayne Davidson, 22, of Bristol, Va., 12 months probation for retail theft.
Kevin Ray DeBerry Sr., 29, of Uniontown, one year probation, to run consecutively, for theft by unlawful taking.
Brandon J. Bloom, 21, of Lemont Furnace, on two counts of possession of marijuana and one count of defiant trespass. On each of the first two counts he will serve 30 days probation; on the third, six months probation to run concurrently.
Kevin Keith Cropp, 32, of White, 18 months probation for an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle.
Rachel Mae Powley, 22, of Connellsville, 12 months probation for retail theft.
Joseph Stephen Moore, 32, of Vanderbilt, one year probation and restitution of $4,500 to Second National Bank of Masontown for theft by deception.
