HISTORIC CHURCH OF ST. PETER, Brownsville, will hold a summer festival on June 30 from noon to 10 p.m. in the church parking lot. Games, food and fellowship will be featured. VETERANS ADMINISTRATION, Pittsburgh Health Care System, will be held at the American Legion Post, 114 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, the first and third Fridays of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Exams are designed to provide veterans who do not use the VA for their health care, an opportunity to become introduced to VA primary care. A VA physician will provide primary care exams. Free cholesterol and blood sugar checks will be given. Appointment for the exams can be made by contacting the VA at 1-800-309-8398, extension 3772. Appointments are required.
ST. VINCENT DePAUL CHURCH, Leisenring, will hold its annual church bazaar on Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 5 to 11 p.m. Food, games, bake sale, flea market and other activities will be featured.
SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA CHIEFS AND ASSISTANT CHIEFS ASSOCIATION will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Edenborn Fire Department. The July 17 meeting will be held at the East Bethlehem Township Fire Department.
SUPPORT GROUP FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE and other dementia will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Center in the Woods, California.
