Lewis Aspey Hough, 72, formerly of Scottdale and Mount Pleasant, Pa., retired Steelworker from United States Steel Corporation’s Homestead Works Machine Shop and Veteran of the United States Army who served in the Korean Conflict, died Tuesday evening, June 18, 2002, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanna Parrish Hough of Champion, Pa., whom he married July 2, 1948; his children: Linda and husband, Ron Bradshaw, of Champion, Pa., David Hough and wife, Brenda, of Jeffersonton, Virginia, LuAnn and husband, Gary Martz, of Chandler, Arizona, Tom Hough and wife, Kim, of LaGrange, Kentucky, Gary Hough and wife, Cheryl,, of Greensburg, Pa., Kerry Hough and Lewis Todd Hough both of New Stanton, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters: Arthella Hough Flesher of Topeka, Kansas, Garnet Hough May and husband, John May, of North Tonawanda, New York, Arlene Hough Oberding and husband, earl Oberding of Topeka, Kansas, and Ardith Hough Collins and husband, Paul Collins, of Scottdale, Pa.; a brother, Gerry Hough and his wife, Helen, of Rio Vista, California; numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no viewing. Private memorial services will be held for the family.
