Wanda D. Thomas Ford of 58 Cemetery Road, Brownsville, Pa., died at 10:50 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2002, in Brownsville General Hospital. She was born August 30, 1943, to Glenn Thomas and Katherine Hackett Thomas.

Wanda was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Queen Esther Chapter 19.

On August 20, 1971, she married Richard Jasper Ford Sr. who survives. Also surviving are four sons: John David Ford and wife, Donna M. Ford, Uniontown, Pa., James Alexander Ford and wife, Jacquelyn, Richard Jasper Ford Jr., and Erving Lee Smith all of Brownsville, Pa.; six grandchildren: Jordan Ford, Jonathan Ford, Debbie Mills, Jason Mills, Natalie Mills, and Mellisa Mills; two great grandchildren: Hyson Ford Jr. and Nicko Segarro; a brother, Paul Thomas of Brownsville, Pa.; and a sister, Audrey Thomas of Canton, Ohio.

Her parents, four brothers, Glenn Thomas, Charles Thomas, Arley Thomas, and David Thomas, and a sister, Toni Thomas, preceded her in death.

The Family will receive Friends in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Baltimore Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, June 21, until 10 a.m. when Services will be held with Dr. Herman B. Jackson, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
