Mabel M. Whalen Cramer, 97, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in Jo-Ella’s II Personal Care Home. She was born November 10, 1904, in Vanderbilt, Pa., daughter of Peter and Salona Whalen.

Mabel was a member of Masontown Church of The Brethren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Charles T. “Smokey” Cramer, two sons, Walter Cramer in infancy and James O. Cramer, one brother, Frank Whalen, and three sisters, Helen Cobert, Nell O’Brien and Alberta Beach.

Surviving are ten children: John P. “Jack” Cramer and wife Janet, Uniontown, Charles T. Cramer Jr. and wife Shirley, Smithfield, Pa., Richard L. Cramer, Uniontown, Gerald “Gerry” Cramer and wife Norma, Cleveland, Ohio, Glenn H. Cramer and wife Rose, South Bend, Indiana, Naomi Eberhart and husband Vernon, Fairchance, Pa., Devonna Porto and husband Walter, Uniontown, Thelma Minor and husband Blaine, Crystal River, Florida, Roberta Cooper and husband Jerry, Dilliner, Pa., and Martha Sharp and husband David, Uniontown; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Ruby Wheeler, Masontown, Pa.

The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Roland O’Brien, her nephew, officiating.

Interment will follow in Park Place Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
