William John Jenkins, 94, of California, Pa., died Wednesday, June 19, 2002. He was born June 24, 1907, in Cresson, Pa., a son of the late William Thomas Jenkins and Gertrude Reed Jenkins.

He was an employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Florence Eleanor Dwyer Jenkins who passed away on January 12, 2002 and one sister the late Ruth Dunkle.

Left to cherish his memory are his three children; Dolores Assad Guy of Brownsville, Pa., Donald Jenkins and wife Julia of Marmora, N.J., and Judith L. Fisher and husband Bob of Washington, Pa.; one brother Thomas Jenkins of Sierra Vista, Az.; eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Barry Mohney officiating.

Interment will follow in Redstone Cemetery.
