Jennie A. Carom of Purcellville, Va., is engaged to wed Anthony D. Pike, also of Purcellville, Va., in a ceremony set for Sept. 7 at Whitehall Estate in Blumont, Va. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Miff) Carom Sr. of 55 Race St., Uniontown. She is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and Penn State Fayette campus.

She is employed at Cisco Systems Inc. in Herndon, Va.

Her fianc’ is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Pike of Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, England.

He is a graduate of Canons High School at Edgeward, Middlesex, England and is also employed at Cisco Systems Inc.
