Elizabeth A. Kelly Taylor, 90, of Carmichaels, Pa., died Sunday, June 23, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born June 18, 1912, in Gates, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Patrick Joseph Kelly and Viola Eichar Kelly.

Elizabeth was a member of St. Hugh’s Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, and the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Hugh’s Catholic Church. She served as President of St. Hugh’s Senior Activity Group in 1974, 1975, and 1976.

She was President of the Carmichaels Garden Club and an active member of Carmichaels Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Taylor enjoyed her “Monday Night Quilters” as they met each week for many years.

She graduated from German Township High School in 1931.

On July 17, 1933, she married Alex P. Taylor. He died in 1980.

Also deceased are a brother, Dr. Patrick Kelly, a sister, Constance Kelly Erwin, and her parents.

Surviving are three children: Jacqueline and her husband, Thomas Feeley, of Long Beach, Indiana, Joyce and her husband, William Halsted, of Prince Frederick, Maryland, and Patrick Taylor and his wife, Rita, of Hummelstown, Pa.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The Family will receive Friends at the PAUL MICHAEL LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director/Supervisor, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 26, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Hugh’s Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, with Rev. Fr. John Bauer as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.

Parish Wake Service on Tuesday at 7 p.m. followed by recitation of the Rosary by the Altar and Rosary Society.
