Ellen Durr Randolph
Ellen Mae Durr Randolph, 82, of Mentor, Ohio, formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., died Friday, June 21, 2002, in Lake County West Hospital, Willoughby, Ohio. She was born September 19, 1919, in Greensboro, Pa., daughter of Herman Durr and Grace Hart Durr.
Ellen was a 1938 graduate of Cumberland Township High School.
She was a retired Garment Cutter for Greenway Manufacturing, Waynesburg, Pa., and a member of Amalgamated Garment Workers Union.
Mrs. Randolph was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church, Greensboro, Pa.
Her husband, Kenneth F. Randolph, died in 1971. Also deceased are a son, Wilfred “Willie” Randolph, two brothers, Fred and Wesley Durr, a sister, Doris Lewis, and her parents.
Surviving are a daughter, Wilma and her husband, Edward Girgas, of Mentor, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Janet Randolph of Slippery Rock, Pa.; and four grandchildren: Kenneth Girgas, Mary Ellen Hessel, Stacie Tweniter and Sean Randolph.
Friends will be received in the PAUL MICHAEL LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director/Supervisor, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
