Two-car accident
Karen Friend, 30, of Smithfield and Carl L. Williams, 76, of Fairmont, W.Va., collided at the intersection of Gallatin Avenue and Peter Street at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, city police said. No injuries were reported.

City firefighters extinguished a brush fire along Stewart Street at 12:26 a.m. Monday. City police also responded to the fire.

State police in Belle Vernon said a white and red Honda ATV owned by Thomas Patrick Nealy, 18, of Newville was taken from his pick up truck Sunday morning when it was parked along Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police filed charges of criminal trespass against James Camp, 28, of Connellsville after he was allegedly found at North Manor on June 16.
According to police, Camp has been prohibited by the Connellsville Housing Authority to enter the site.

Police filed charges of public drunkenness against Arnold T. Cramer, 37, of 450 E. Main St., Uniontown, after he was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition along East Fairview Avenue on June 18.

Police filed charges of indirect criminal contempt against Timothy Swan, 25, after he allegedly made several harassing telephone calls to a Connellsville woman on June 18.
Police did not identify the woman.

Police filed charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct against Craig Antonio Howard, 32, of 70 Pershing Court, Uniontown, after he was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition and yelling obscenities at a Connellsville woman along North Pittsburgh Street on June 16.
