The Fayette County Housing Authority board of directors awarded nine contracts at its Tuesday meeting, with board member Angela M. Zimmerlink abstaining on those votes because bid-related documents weren’t available for her to review. Zimmerlink has repeatedly said that she wants the information on hand at board meetings, so she can review the documents before, during or after the meeting. None of the supporting documentation was brought to the Lemon Wood Acres community building, where Tuesday’s meeting was held.

The following contracts were approved by the other four board members:

? McClure & Wolf of Uniontown, a three-year contract with a two-year option to perform an independent audit. The firm will be paid $15,000.

? Accountable Assets Inc. of Allison Park, a $24,000 contract to perform a fixed asset inventory for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2002.

? Accountable Assets Inc. of Allison Park, a $10,000 contract to perform a materials inventory for the fiscal year ending June 30,2002.

? Maintenance USA of Jacksonville, Pa., a $48,229 contract to be the primary supplier of plumbing materials for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003.

? Maintenance USA of Jacksonville, Pa., separate contracts to be the primary supplier of heating, ventilation and air conditioning materials; to be the primary supplier of electrical materials; to be the primary supplier of janitorial supplies, and to be the primary supplier of construction materials; all for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003. No specific amounts were listed, as the authority will buy items as needed at a set discounted price.

? Fayette Office Supply of East Millsboro as the primary supplier of office supplies for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003. No specific amount was listed, as the authority will buy items as needed at a set discounted price.
