Betty L. Gallagher Righetti, age 80, of Fredericktown, Pa., died unexpectedly Friday, June 28, 2002, at 3 a.m. in her home. She was born April 21, 1922, in Vestaburg, Pa., daughter of Bertram Alexander Gallagher and Ella Cutler Gallagher.

Mrs. Righetti was a 1940 graduate of the former East Bethlehem Township High School.

In 1985 she retired from the former Lazovik’s Store, Fredericktown, where she was employed for over 25 years.

Betty was Catholic by faith.

A brother, Joseph T. Gallagher, died November 27, 1993. Her parents are also deceased.

Surviving are her husband, John Righetti; two sons: J. Pat Righetti, Salem, Ohio, and Joseph W. Righetti, Randolph, New Jersey; five grandchildren: Sean Righetti, Joseph Righetti, Kimberly Svabik, James Righetti, and Jonathan Righetti; three great grandsons: Tyler, Alex, and Andrew; two sisters: Amelia “Mickey” Lakatos, Fredericktown, Pa., and Eleanore Moore, Bradenton, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown Hill, Fredericktown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Monday, July 1, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Francis Nazimek officiating.

Interment will be in Fredericktown Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
