Olive V. Duff, 71, of Dawson, Pa., died Tuesday night, April 30, 2002, in Dainty Personal Care Home, Grindstone, Pa. She was born in Franklin Township, Pa., on May 2, 1931, a daughter of the late James and Alma Lloyd Rowan.

Olive was a member of the Bryan Methodist Church, Historical and Genealogical Societies of Fayette and Somerset Counties, and Louden and Clark Counties I Virginia.

Surviving are her husband, Howard Duff; two children, Linda Taylor and her husband, Bruce of Alexandria, Va., and James Duff and his wife, Anna Mae Duff of Dawson, Pa.; two grandsons, David McLellan of Ocala, Fla., and Bryan McLellan of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Hannah McLellan of Ocala, Fla.; four brothers, James Rowan of Ensenedis, Calif., Timothy Rowan of Daisytown, Pa., Paul Rowan of Vanderbilt, Pa., and Robert Rowan of Vanderbilt, Pa.; tow sisters, Mary Brooks of Waltersburg, Pa., and Dorothy Mader of Smock, Pa.; and three aunts, Sarah Krienbrook of Mount Pleasant, Pa., and Virginia Morris of Connellsville, Pa., and Jessie Kimmel of Dawson, Pa.

Friends will be received in the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, Dawson, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Roger Applebee officiating. Interment will be in Flatwoods Cemetery. A special thanks to the staff of Dainty’s Personal Care Home and the Westmoreland Hospice.
