Johns-Smith
United in marriage were Jaime Smith and Richard Johns. Msgr. Andrew Chupela officiated the June 23 nuptial Mass at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Deborah Smith of East Main Street, Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of John and Roseann Sloboda of Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with off-the-shoulder neckline, full bottom adorned with pearls and cathedral train. A pearled band held a veil of illusion.
Leah Walters, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Jennifer Conway was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelley Kolencik, Danielle King, Jodi Voithoffer, Veronica Kushner and Cortney Patek. Gianna Johns, daughter of the couple, was flower girl.
Best man was John Sloboda and Grant Risha. Ushers were Michael Risha, Brad Sloboda, Laurence Smith, brother of the bride; Andrew Kushner, and Santino Sloboda, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the Summit Inn Resort.
The bride graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and is attending Penn State Fayette.
The bridegroom is also a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State Fayette. He is self-employed.
The couple honeymooned in Ocean City, Md., and Atlantic City, N.J.
They reside at 481 Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown.
