Simmons-Glover
Annette Glover and Thomas Simmons Jr. were married in a ceremony performed May 12 by the Rev. David Peters at the Markleysburg Union Church. The bride is the daughter of Christine Glover of Braddock Road, Markleysburg, and the late Bruce Glover. The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Deborah Simmons of Sickle Ridge Road, Confluence.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother.
Andrea Glover, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Dennis, Tamara Marker and Tammy Simmons, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Amanda Thomas, cousin of the bride.
Chris Witt was best man. Groomsmen were Shon Hostetler, Adam Kapalko and David Glover, brother of the bride. Corey Thomas, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Uniontown Firemen’s Social Hall.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Uniontown Area High School and is a 2001 graduate of Laurel Business Institute. She is a medical assistant at Mountainview Medical Associates.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2001 graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He is a wireman with Alston T&D.
The couple honeymooned at Myrtle Beach, S.C.
They are living on Braddock Road, Markleysburg.
