Mildred Strauch, 78, of Rowes Run, Pa., passed away Sunday, May 5, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1923, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Martin Zuzindlak and Mary Stratko Zuzindlak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Strauch, in 2000; and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are the following children, Jack W. Sweitzer and his wife, Linda of Dunbar, Pa., Georgette Page and her husband, Barry of Rowes Run, Pa., and Larry Strauch and his wife, Debbie of LaFayette, Ind.; grandchildren, Sean, Nicole, Justin, Kelly, Tracey, Mark, Stephanie and Jeffrey; and one great-grandson, Tyler.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., in the funeral home, with the Rev. Roland O’Brien officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
