George E. Hone, 73, of Vanderbilt, Pa., died Monday, May 6, 2002, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, Pa. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Hone; daughter, Kristy Hone at home; three stepdaughters: Charlotte Zimmerman of New Jersey, Faith McLain of Vanderbilt, Pa., and Jackie Whittaker of Dallastown, Pa.; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and one brother, Fred Hone.

The Family will receive Friends in the Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home, Railroad and Laughlin streets, Dawson, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 8, until 11 a.m.
