Martha C. Hulse
Martha C. Mitchell Hulse, 77, of Ohiopyle, Pa., passed away Saturday, May 4, 2002, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born November 23, 1924, in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of the late Dennis Mitchell and Gladys Powers Mitchell.
Martha attended St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.
She was a retired Medical Secretary and Phlebotomist from Uniontown Hospital. She also did volunteer work at Uniontown Hospital and was a member of the Summit Ladies Golf Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph N. Mascioli.
Surviving are her sister, Grace Miller of Ohiopyle; five stepchildren: Maryann Kapel of Uniontown, Pa., Leisel McClelland and husband, Robert, of Uniontown, Valarie Wagner and husband, Matthew, of North Versailles, Pa., Patricia Smitley and husband, Gary, of Uniontown, and Joseph Mascioli II of Uniontown; a first cousin, Dr. William J. Mitchell of Uniontown; 14 step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 8, until 9 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese R.C. Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini, V.F., as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
Visitation was also held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
