Stanley E. Krol
Stanley E. Krol, 81, of Scottdale R.D.2, Pa., a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force Headquarters 515 Air Service Group who served during World War II and participated in the battles of North Apennines, Rhineland, and PO Valley A/C Balkans Campaign, and retired Welder with 32 years service from General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Dravosburg, Pa., died late Saturday evening, May 4, 2002, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, Pa. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary A. Pietrzak Krol, whom he married June 28, 1952; daughter, Theresa A. Krol Bish and her husband, Charles Bish, and a granddaugther, Christine M. Bish, all of Scottdale, Pa.; sisters and brothers: Mary Krol Grzywinski and her husband, Stanley Grzywinski, of Scottdale, Helen Krol Blackburn of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Genevieve Krol Banasik and her husband, Ray Banasik, of Mount Pleasant, William Krol and his wife, Lucy, of Kent, Ohio, and Frank Krol of Detroit, Michigan; nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive Friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 8, until 10:30 a.m.
