George H. Hall
George Harrison Hall, 82, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Monday, May 6, 2002, after a brief illness. He was born November 25, 1919, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Perley V. Hall and Sarah Hunt Hall.
George was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Asbury Men’s Bible Class, and the church choir.
He graduated from Uniontown High School, served with the United States Army during World War II, and was a self-employed Mechanic.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annabel Elleard Hall, four brothers, William, Clyde, Raymond and James Hall, and two sisters, Harriet Zebro and Mabel Koval.
George is survived by a daughter, Doris Hall Davis of Uniontown; two sons: Richard “Jack” Hall and his wife, Elaine, of Portland, Oregon, and Robert Hall and his wife, Janet, of Uniontown; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Estella Martin of Essex, Maryland; two brothers; Joseph Hall of Florida and Harold Hall of Leland, North Carolina.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation continues, in the Asbury United Methodist Church, Dunbar Street, Uniontown, on Saturday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Services will then be held with the Rev. James P. Fogg officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
