Blanche Aglio, 82, of California, Pa., died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at home. She was born Nov. 9, 1919, in Marianna, Pa., daughter of the late Theodore and Adele Sawicky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Pay” Aglio, in 1993; brothers, William, Edward, Joseph and Walter Sawicky; and a sister, Helen Hockmouth.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony J. Aglio and wife, Sally of Roscoe, Ronald W. Aglio and wife, Andrea of West Newton, and Debbie Dunn and husband, Bob of Blainesburg; a brother, Robert Sawicky of Richeyville; grandchildren, Anthony J. Aglio II and wife, Janae of Dover, Del., Jonathan Aglio of Butler, Justin Aglio of LaPlata, Md., and Bobbie and Bryan Dunn of Blainesburg; and a great-granddaughter, Macie Louise Aglio.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., today from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the Mariscotti Funeral Home on Friday afternoon. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery.
