Denis Paul Whetsell, 59, of Millsboro, Pa., died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in his residence. He was born Aug. 19, 1942, in Brownsville, Pa.

He attended Jefferson Morgan Schools, and graduated from Bedford High School in Bedford, Ohio. Afterwards, he graduated from Kent State University in Ohio, with a degree in Photography, and later owned His and Her Photo Studio in Hudson, Ohio.

Surviving are his father, Paul C. Whetsell; his former wife, Jo Ann Whetsell and daughter, Heather Whetsell, both of Ashtabulla, Ohio; three brothers, Ron of Clarksville, Ed Dale of Akron, Ohio, and Kenneth of Ohio; and one sister, Patricia Whetsell Wilson of Chartiers Bottom, Clarksville.

Friends will be received in the Frank Burkus Funeral Home, 26 Mill St., Millsboro, Pa. on Friday, May 10, 2002, from 1 to 8:30 p.m.
