Jacques B. “Jac” Sill
Jacques B. “Jac” Sill, 66, of 506 South Market St., Carmichaels, Pa., died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at home.
Mr. Sill was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Columbia, Pa., to the late Paul R. and Frances M. (Goodwin) Sill. Mr. Sill retired from the former Conrail Railroad.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of New Bloomfield, the Adams Lodge 317 F&AM, AASRF Valley of Harrisburg, Zembo Temple of Harrisburg, New Bloomfield Fire Company, New Bloomfield Fireman’s Club, and the American Railway Engineers Maintenance-of-Way Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert B. Sill.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara C. (Shope) Sill of Carmichaels; two daughters, Sharon Wise and her husband, Kevin of Greensburg, and Karen Sill of Bowie, Md.; a sister, Patricia Comp of Florida; and two grandchildren, Jamie Jones of Los Angeles, and Zachary Wise of Greensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 11, 2002, in the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, 101 West Main St., New Bloomfield. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 10, 2002, in the funeral home, from 7 to 9 p.m., and again on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
