Genevieve Harshman Leighty, L.P.N., 72, a three-year resident of Beverly HealthCare who lived most of her life in the Mather and Jefferson, Pa., areas, worked for many yeas in the Nursery of Greene County Memorial Hospital Pediatrics Department and then as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Youth Development Center in Waynesburg, graduated from Mapletown High School in 1948, and was born in Garards Fort, Greene County, Pa., died Thursday, May 9, 2002, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg Pa. She is survived by four sisters: June Harshman Policz of Waynesburg, Pa., Thelma Harshman Buckingham of Parma, Ohio, Dorothea Harshman Huntman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Caroline Harshman Ferencak of Mather, Pa.; brothers: Clarence Harshman of Wellington, Ohio, Don Harsham of Greenfield, Indiana, Everett Harshman of Parma, Ohio; nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends in the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 11, until 1 p.m.
