William M. Cupp
William M. Cupp, 95, of Smithfield, Pa., died Thursday, May 9, 2002, at his residence. He was born August 15, 1906, in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, son of Emery Sylvester Cupp and Sarah Elizabeth Spiker Cupp.
William was a retired employee from Kasia Bakery Company, Cleveland, Ohio, and the Burns International Detective Agency.
He was a member of White House Free Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Gray Cupp, daughter, Pauletta Cupp, brothers, Elva Cupp and Carlus Eugene Cupp, sisters, Faye Ault and Edith Maust, first wife, Effie Goodwin Cupp, second wife, Catherine Isengart Keyball Cupp, and his parents.
Surviving are his children: James Edward Cupp, Cleveland, Ohio, Charles Robert Cupp, Crawley, West Virginia, Violetta Cupp, Phoenix, Arizona, Rebecca and husband Robert Wilson, Farmington, Pa., Rose Ann and husband Dan Zimmerman, Cleveland, Ohio, and Lilly Mae Stefarmacci, Cleveland, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters: Mary Carey, Carmichaels, Pa., and Lilly Joseph, Uniontown, Pa.; and his very close companion, Loretta Rockwell, Smithfield, Pa.
The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, May 13, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.
Interment in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.
