Deanna Lee Evans
Deanna Lee Evans, 23, of 25 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., died Friday, May 10, 2002, at 1:21 p.m. as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on Sunday, September 3, 1978, in Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia, daughter of Linda McGalla Evans of Masontown, Pa., and the late Wade Evans.
Deanna was a member of Nilan Apostolic Church in Nilan, Pa., employed by Call Tech Communications, received an Associate Degree from West Virginia Career College, and graduated from Albert Gallatin High School Class of 1996.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her father, by grandparents, Andy and Grace McGalla and Estella Jean Gaddis Enlow.
In addition to her mother she is survived by three sisters: Andrea and her husband Wesley Shaffer Sr. of Nemacolin, Pa., Pamela Knight of Nemacolin, and Tamela and her husband Wesley Wise of Carmichaels, Pa.; brothers: Charles Sowden III of Greensboro, Pa., and Shaun Furgenson of Massachusetts; nieces: Tisha Wise and Andrea Knight; nephews: Jeffrey Fenton, Adam Knight, Roy Riggleman IV, Anthony Riggleman, and Wesley Shaffer Jr.; her maternal grandfather, Elroy “Hopper” Enlow of McClellandtown, Pa.; several aunts and uncles; and her best friend, Bobby Jo Advent of Masontown, Pa.
The Family will receive Friends in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and River avenues, Masontown, Pa., today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 14, until 1 p.m. when Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tim Tanner will officiate.
Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
