Teddy Mastowski
Teddy Mastowski, 89, of Mill Run, Pa., died Monday, May 13, 2002, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. He was born September 11, 1912, in Dunbar, Pa., son of Joseph Mastowski and Frances Roszak Mastowski.
Teddy was a resident of Mill Run since 1976.
He was a retired Farmer. He also was a former Coal Miner with Eastern Gas & Fuel and the Bridgeport Mine and also formerly worked for the Chrysler Corporation as a Machinist in Detroit, Michigan.
He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
Teddy was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church in Donegal, Pa.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Mary Catherine Dzielski Mastowski on October 29, 2000, two brothers, Walter and Frank Mastowski, and four sisters, Mary Mastowski, Helen and Josephine Dzielski, and Verna Kasiewicz.
He is survived by two sons: Edward Mastowski and his wife, Gloria, of Mill Run and Paul Mastowski and his wife, Pamela, of Farmington, Pa.; three daughters: Dolores Kocis and her husband, John, of South Connellsville, Pa., Elizabeth Maczko and her husband, Joe, of Grindstone, Pa., and Marlene Kotcher and her husband, Jay, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; 10 grandchildren: Lisa, Joseph, Gina, Thomas, Christine, Timothy, Denise, Deneen, Edward, and John; 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Mastowski and his wife, Evelyn, of Normalville, Pa.; two sisters: Bernice Mastowski of Leesburg, Florida, and Louise Mastowski of White, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends will be received in the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be said Thursday, May 16, at 10 a.m. in St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church, Donegal, with Rev. Fr. John Harrold as Celebrant.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Transfiguration Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Pa.
