The education council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce honored Scott Fike of New Salem, a junior at the Fayette County Area Vocational-Technical School, as student of the month for March. The son of Roger and Lorraine Fike, he is undecided which post-secondary school he wants to attend. He wants to study Web design and become a Web page designer.

Fike’s work experiences as a Web site designer have been with Fayette Vo-Tech, Triangle 21, and German Township.

He has earned several honors and awards.
