Ida Marie Maraney, 53, of Alicia, Pa., died at 5:55 a.m., on Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at her home. She was born Feb. 3, 1949, in Richeyville, Pa., a daughter of Antonina Ciarocca Antonacci, who resides at her home, and the late Alberico Antonacci.

Mrs. Maraney was a 1967 graduate of Beth Center High School, and resided in Alicia, since 1972. She enjoyed craftwork, gardening, decorating and watching the sun rise at the beach while on vacation with her family. Mrs. Maraney was an avid collector of lighthouses and seashells. She especially enjoyed sharing time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James R. Maraney, whom she married on June 23, 1973; two sons, James R. Maraney Jr., and his wife, Debra of Carmichaels, Pa., and John E. Maraney and his companion, Marcia of Bridgeport, W.Va.; two daughters, Dominique (Nikki) Wallace and her husband, Stacey of Roseville, Calif., and Jamie M. Siebert of Alicia, wife of the late William Siebert; ten grandchildren, Taylene, Amanda, Shastina, Josh, Torie, Billy, Jessica, Tony, Shay and Jacob; a brother, John Antonacci and his wife, Dolores of Jefferson, Pa.; and one nephew.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Ray Maraney.

Friends will be received in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine St., (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 17, 2002, with Pastor Kenneth D. Summers officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
