David L. Mellinger, 51, of Scottdale, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Knox Mellinger; one son, Kody Mellinger, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Deanna) Hackler of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Jeff Mellinger of St. Cloud, Minn. and Greg Mellinger of Delaware, Ohio; one sister, Mary Fisher of Connellsville and two granddaughters.

Arrangements are under the direction of Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar.
