Prest published
Loring Prest, California University of Pennsylvania instructor and electronic resources librarian, was recently published in the 11th Edition of “Magazines for Libraries” (R.R. Bowker, publisher).
“Magazines for Libraries” is a reference tool found in most academic and public libraries.
Librarians use it to evaluate periodical collections and as a guide in the selection and de-selection of titles.
English language journals and magazines that are considered the best in the field are grouped by subject.
Each entry includes bibliographic information and an evaluative annotation of approximately 200 words.
Combining his academic background in religion and library science, Prest has written the “Religion” section for the past three editions.
He has been asked to continue his work in the next edition, which will appear in approximately two years.
