Mr. and Mrs. Rickie Jay King, 2010 Dinner Bell-Five Forks Road, Farmington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Renee, to Edward Kenneth Hoffman, son of Tara Hoffman of Markleysburg and Kenneth Hoffman of Berlin. The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Uniontown Area Senior High School and a 1999 graduate of the Laurel Business Institute, where she obtained an advanced associate degree in medical assistant- secretarial studies. She is employed by Redstone Rehabilitation Services in Brownsville.

Her fianc’ is a 1991 graduate of Uniontown Area Senior High School. He is employed by Uniontown Fireman’s Ambulance Corps as a paramedic. He is also fire chief of the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Company.

They will wed Sept. 14 at Union Chapel, Markleysburg.
