Building damaged

State police said someone kicked and broke the concession stand door at the Saltlick Township Little League Field, causing $100 damage, between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

State police said Richard Walker, 19, of Penn was not hurt when he struck a guardrail along Route 40 during a hail storm at 6:18 p.m. Saturday.

Home vandalized

Robert Mark Griger, 44, of Acme told state police that someone threw eggs at his East Lake Road home and mailbox and wrapped toilet paper around trees on his property between 12:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Car robbed

State police said theft charges are pending against an 18-year-old New Salem woman and a 16-year-old girl for allegedly stealing $226 worth of items from a car owned by Gloria A. Horabik of Brownsville at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Men injured

John George Harvath of Merritstown and Shawn Eric Conway of Allison suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 166 and Republic Road on Saturday, state police said. No further information was available.

North Union Twp.

Tires punctured

Marvin Harris of Uniontown told state police that someone punctured both right tires on his vehicle while it was parked at 91 Lemon Wood Acres from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday.

Fraud attempted

State police said a known woman attempted to deposit a $400 check from a closed account into her account at National City Bank in the Connellsville Shopping Center on Dec. 17, 2001.

Man arrested

State police said Paul Anthony Martin, 39, of Uniontown was arrested for simple assault and harassment after an alleged confrontation with Sandra Lee Welch, 36, of Uniontown at her Walnut Hill Avenue home at 7:45 p.m. May 13. Martin was arraigned before District Justice Rick Vernon and released on $10,000 bond.

Vehicles collide

State police said neither April Marie Fisher of McClellandtown nor Larry Wayne Newman of Smithfield suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Leckrone-Highhouse Road and Leckrone-Masontown Road.

Man charged

State police said David Andrew Tokar, 44, of Grindstone was charged with arson, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person stemming from an alleged domestic incident with Andrew Francis Tokar at 6107 National Pike from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. David Tokar was arraigned before District Justice Rick Vernon. and placed in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Hit-and-run probed

John Caldwell Jr., 18, and his passenger, Tammy Caldwell, 41, both of Dunbar Twp., were not injured when he rolled his car along Hardy Hill Road at 10:54 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Police alleged that Caldwell fled the scene without reporting the accident.

Timothy E. Clark, 31, of Uniontown told state police that someone stole a Winchester rifle and $260 cash from his Zebly Road home between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Man arrested

State police said Kenneth Clair Holt III of Hopwood was charged with simple assault and unlawful restraint for allegedly beating Pamela Louise Merico of Uniontown and detaining her in his home along Hopwood-Coolspring Road between 8:30 p.m. Apr. 23 and 10:30 a.m. Apr. 24. Holt was arraigned before District Justice Deberah Kula Apr. 24 and released on $10,000 bond prior to a preliminary hearing at Kula’s office Thursday.

Check forged

State police said a man tried to make a lease payment to Rainbow Rentals of Uniontown with a forged check from a Family Dollar payroll account at 10 a.m. Friday.

Assault probed

Milani Myers of Uniontown told state police that a known juvenile struck her during an argument at her home at 7:30 p.m. May 13.
