Terry V. “Murphy” Murphy, 66, a lifelong resident of Connellsville, Pa., retired Fireman from the City of Connellsville with over 20 years service and a Veteran of World War II who served with the United States Army Infantry, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 15, 2002, while biking along the Yough River Bike Trail about which, ironically, he had often said that when he passed away he wanted to be on the bike trail doing what he loved. He is survived by a sister, one uncle, two nephews, one niece, three great nieces, many cousins, and numerous friends, fellow bike riders, and those he passed along on the trail.

Friends are invited to join with his Family for a Memorial Service which will be held in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Tuesday, May 21, at 7 p.m.
