William (Tiny) Rose, 64, of Ridgeland, Mississippi, and formerly of Edenborn, Pa., died Thursday, May 9, 2002 in the VA Medical Center Hospital, Ridgeland, Mississippi after a lengthy illness. He was born March 8, 1938 in Edenborn, Pa., the son of Barbara Wynn and the late James Rose.

He was predeceased by his oldest brother Wallace Rose.

Besides his parents, Barbara and James Wynn, he is also survived by one daughter, Bonita Rose; three sons, William Rose Jr., James Rose and Jason Howard Rose; three grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Johnson and her husband Robert of Charleroi, Pa.; three brothers, Arthur L. Rose and his wife Roslyn of Tower Hill I, James Wynn and his wife Loretta of Springfield, MA. and Ronnie Wynn of Norfolk, Va.

William served in the United States Navy from which he retired after 23 years of faithful service.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 6 p.m. at the Mount Ararat Baptist Church, Cardale, Pa. with the Pastor Rev. Richard Calloway officiating.
