Services scheduled Activities planned

The Hanson-Cole Fredericktown American Legion has announced the following schedule of Memorial Day services:

-Services at the Buckingham Cemetery in Deemston at 8:40 a.m..

– Services at the Fredericktown Hill Cemetery at 8:45 a.m..

– Services at the Honor Roll in Vestaburg at 9:15 a.m..

– Services at the World War II Honor Roll main street Fredericktown at 9:30 a.m..

– Services at the World War I Honor Roll in Newton.

– Services at the Milfred Terrace Cemetery in Millsboro at 10 a.m.

– Services at the Honor Roll in Clarksville at 10:20 a.m..

– Services at the Riverfront in Fredericktown at 10:45 a.m. These services include the placing of the wreath on the Monongahela River honoring all the servicemen and women lost at sea.

– Services at the municipal parking lot Main Street, Fredericktown, where services will conclude at the Veterans Memorial at 11 a.m.

Legion officials urge local residents join in saluting departed servicemen and women by displaying their flags.
