Donnie Lee Hammock, 56, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, May 20, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born Feb. 24, 1946, in Poland Mines, Greensboro, Pa.

Donnie was retired from the U.S. Army Reserves, and was a retired coal miner.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his twin brother, Ronnie Hammock and brother, John Eddie Fort; his grandmother, Marie Jordan; an uncle, Charles Jordan; and an aunt, Edith Kirby.

Surviving are his wife, Delores Hammock; seven stepchildren; one brother, Kenneth Jordan of Los Angeles, Calif.; one uncle, William “Bill” Jordan and wife, Sue of Thompson No. 2, Pa.; and cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, May 24, 2002, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Richard Calloway officiating. Interment will be in Wolfe Cemetery, Dilliner, Pa.
