Clean-up scheduled It is grass cutting and clean-up time at the Woodbridge Union Church Cemetery.

Anyone wishing to help clean up may stop by anytime. Donations are needed and greatly appreciated for cutting grass and upkeep. There are old graves and veterans’ graves.

The church was founded in 1790. It is located on the Gans Woodbridge Road near Reeses’ Furniture Store.

Donations may be sent to: Woodbridge Union Church, PO Box 315, Smithfield, PA 15478 (For: Cemetery Fund).

No Memorial Day services are scheduled for this year. There will be the regular morning services at 10:45 a.m., on Sunday.

Speaker welcomed

Trinity United Presbyterian Church, corner of Morgantown and West Fayette streets, Uniontown, welcomes the Rev. Dr. Robert Cahn, retired executive presbyter of Redstone Presbytery, to Sunday’s 11 a.m. worship service. Recognition of the Trinity Choirs, along with the 2002 graduates, will be included in worship. The handbell, chancel and children’s choirs will offer special music. A coffee fellowship will be held in the chapel after worship, hosted by the elders of the Class of 2003. A nursery is provided for children age 5 and younger during worship. The service is broadcast live over radio station WMBS, beginning at 11:06 a.m.
