Mary C. Bulut
Mary Catherine Bulut, 98, of 2737 27th Street, Astoria, N.Y., died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at Mount Sinai Hospital, Astoria, N.Y. She was born Nov. 14, 1903, in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Michael and Sophia (Royko) Latsnic.
She was a housewife.
Mary was survived by a sister, Sophia Bizub of Masontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Bailey and her second husband, Michael Bulut; brothers, Joseph, Michael, Stephen and John Latsnic; a sister, Margaret.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Leckrone.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and River Aves., Masontown, today from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 10 a.m., the hour of the service, followed by a Mass of Christian at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Andrew M. Kawecki officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa. All Saints Christian Mothers and the St. Mary’s Rosary Society will recite the Rosary today at 7 p.m. Parish Wake Service will be held today at 8 p.m.
