Beulah Mae Hagar
Beulah Mae Scott Hagar, 83, of Chestnut Ridge, Pa., and formerly of Bobtown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2002, at the home of her daughter with whom she resided. She was born October 8, 1918, in Maybe, West Virginia, daughter of Ira Zane Scott and Cicely Hayes Scott.
Beulah was a former member of the Bobtown Methodist Church. She was a great writer of poetry and loved to crochet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Hagar on October 4, 1983, three sisters, three brothers, and her parents.
Surviving are four daughters: Eleanor Tressler and husband, Edison, of Claysville, Pa., Sheila Brown and husband, John, of Beaver, Pa., Joyce Wilson and husband, James, of Freedom, Pa., and Janet Adams and husband, James, of Chestnut Ridge, Pa.; nine grandchildren: Tracy Grote and husband Regis, Jeff Brown and wife Amy, John Brown and wife Lori, Robert Wilson and wife Amy, Edward Wilson and wife Jennifer, Cinda Cengia and husband Paul, Joyce Adams, James Adams and wife Karen, Joseph Adams and wife Bertha; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today, May 26, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Irwin “Woody” Wilson officiating.
Private interment services will be held at Greene County Memorial Park.
