Karen Adams of Uniontown and Michael Dunham of Smithfield were united in marriage on Jan. 5. The Rev. Michael Hall officiated the service at Great Bethel Baptist Church, Uniontown.

The bride is the daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Adams. The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Karen Dunham of Tobin School Road, Smithfield.

Given in marriage by her brothers, Sam and Ron Adams, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown adorned with lace and a beaded bodice with full skirt and train. A beaded band held a veil of illusion.

Tammy Rowan was matron of honor. Darla Sabatula was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Fawn Petrosky, Dawn Adams, Sabrina Adams, Devon Bowlin, Jennifer Cobert, and Terri Johnson. Emma and Brianna Petrosky, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.

Ken Bosley was best man. Groomsmen were David Dunham, Mark Dunham, Edward Adams, Daniel Adams, Stephen Johnson, Sam Adams II and Chuck Cobert. Ring bearers were Mike and Johnny Bosley.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Uniontown.

The bride graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and California University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary and early childhood education. She is an instructor with Head Start of Fayette County.

The bridegroom graduated from Albert Gallatin High School and West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree. He earned a master’s degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree in teaching from California University of Pennsylvania.

He is an instructor at Fairmont State College and is an environmental specialist with the Monongalia County Health Department, W.Va.

The couple honeymooned on Kona, Hawaii.

They are living on Tobin School Road, Smithfield.
