Ruth Ellen Taylor of Uniontown told state police that someone entered her home and removed a standard household broom between 2:15 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

Man charged
Charges are pending against a 43-year-old Dunbar man for allegedly striking Diane Mildred Lewis, 43, of Dunbar following an accident along Main Street at 7:40 p.m. Friday, according to state police

State police cited Daniel Shreckengost Jr. of Masontown after he allegedly broke the windshield of a vehicle owned by Audrey Shreckengost or Uniontown at 10:05 p.m. Thursday.

Criminal mischief
Edward Huffman of Mount Pleasant told state police that someone stole a Panasonic car stereo and cassette player and broke the window, airbag and steering column in a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot of Huffman’s Auto, Pleasant Valley Road between 1 p.m. May 18 and 9 a.m. May 20.

Janet Simmen of Uniontown told state police that someone put a dent in her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of the Mountainview Plaza between 7 and 7:45 p.m. Monday.

PFA violated
Dale Allen Daniels, 36, of Mount Pleasant was arraigned before District Justice Ronald Haggerty and released on his own recognizance after he allegedly threatened Janice Kay Daniels, 39, of Mount Pleasant with a shovel, violating a protection from abuse order at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

House burglarized
James Conley Jr. of Smithfield told state police that someone broke into his home and stole three handguns and money from a gun locker in his bedroom between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the value of the property stolen is $1,820 and damage is estimated at $410.

Hit and run
State police said an unknown driver of a Ford Explorer hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Lori Kreuger, 32, of Pittsburgh on Five Forks Road then fled the scene on foot at 11 p.m. Friday. Kreuger’s vehicle received major damage while the Ford Explorer received minor damage police said.

State police cited Lonnie Greenawalt Jr., 22, of Connellsville for harassment and trespassing following an incident involving Jessica Graft, 20, and Debbie Graft, 43, both of Dixon Street at 7 a.m. Friday.

Woman harassed
State police cited Shawn Zaffina, 30, of Dawson for harassment after an incident involving April Garletts, 24, of Connellsville on Flatwoods Road at 5:45 p.m. Friday.

Man cited
State police cited an 18-year-old Perryopolis man after he allegedly punched a 15-year-old Star Junction boy in the face and then punched the boy’s vehicle, causing a dent at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Police did not identify the suspect.

Two-vehicle accident
Emily McKinney of Greensburg sustained minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving collided with a vehicle driven by Shelley Vansickle, of Markleysburg along Route 40 at 4:47 p.m. Thursday, according to state police.
Dunbar Twp.
Two charged
State police charged Debra Smitley, 22, and Leonard Karpel Jr., 23, both of Lemont Furnace, with felony forgery after Smitley stole blank checks from her mother, Patricia Smitley’s home and the two cashed them at two locations on May 4.
According to police, Debra Smitley and Karpel were arraigned before District Justice Deborah Kula and released on their own recognizance.
