United in marriage on May 18 were Amy Michelle Lange and Dr. Joseph John Zubak, both of Dallas, Texas. The Rev. Charles Greenwell officiated the nuptial Mass at Holy Angels Catholic Church in San Angelo, Texas.

The bride’s parents are Sharon Lange of San Angelo, and the late Roger Lange. The bridegroom, a former Adah resident, is the son of the late Mary Ann and Joseph Zubak.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with off-the-shoulder neckline, fitted bodice adorned with beaded embroidery, full skirt and cathedral-length train. A pearl and crystal encrusted comb held a double-tier fingertip veil.

Holly Lange of San Angelo was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Yvette Zavala and Becky Bradbury, both of Houston, Texas; and Erika Almazan of San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Hans Blom of Savannah, Ga. was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Lange of Waco, Texas; Michael Tock, Laytonsville, Md. and Dr. Michael Frisch, Fairbanks, Alaska.

The reception was held at the historic Cactus Hotel.

The bride graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of arts degree.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Monongahela Valley Catholic High School and the University of Maryland. He earned a medical doctorate degree from Georgetown University. He is an orthopedic surgeon with the U.S. Army.

The couple honeymooned on the islands of Hawaii and Maui.

They will be moving to El Paso, Texas.
