The Kiwanis Club of Uniontown presented a certificate of achievement and a $100 Savings Bond in recognition of outstanding community or academic accomplishment to Telley Brown of 34 Pershing Ave., Uniontown, for March 2002. Telley is studying nursing.

She was awarded a scholarship for swimming.

Telley is president of her second-year nursing class. She plans to become a midwife.

She is a full-time student, a mother of two girls, a part-time LPN, and a specialist with the U.S. Army Reserves.
