Harassment cited

State police in Belle Vernon said citations have been filed against a known adult for physically contacting two juveniles Monday at 11:30 p.m. at a location along Route 166.

Hit-and-run collision

State police in Belle Vernon filed charges against Daniel Albert Austin, 20, of McKeesport following an alleged hit-and-run-collision Monday at 10:30 p.m. at the Layton Tunnel. Police said Austin backed into Renee Christine Abbondanza, 21, of Pittsburgh, who was stopped, then fled the scene, but he was identified later.

Police said Austin was arraigned Tuesday by District Justice Michael Rubish and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $5,000 percentage bond.

Woman cited

Borough police said Naomi Drake, 35, of Martin was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following a 1:40 a.m. Tuesday incident on North Main Street.

Man cited

Borough police said Craig Keener, 29, of 359 Club Sophia Road, Uniontown, was cited for public drunkenness after he refused to leave property leased by American Heavy rigging near the river Monday at 4:15 a.m.

Juveniles cited

Borough police said two juvenile girls from the area were cited over the weekend for disorderly conduct for fighting in the 90 block of Fort Masontown Village.

Citation issued

Borough police said Bobby Joe Gutherie, 21, of 81 Fort Masontown Village was cited for public drunkenness over the weekend for an incident that occurred at his residence.

Burglary

State police said someone between 12 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday entered Dongilli’s Garage, along Route 51 in Perry Township, through a rear window, ransacked the office and took 200 inspection and emission stickers from a safe. Police listed David D. Dongilli, 46, of Perryopolis as the victim and gave an approximate value of $400 for the stickers and $500 for damage to the safe.

Drug charges filed

Two men were charged with violation of the drug act Monday in connection with a traffic stop that occurred Friday afternoon, city police said.

Kristopher Lewis, 24, of Allentown was charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver marijuana and Quaan White, 25, of Allentown was charged with violation of the drug act and possession of marijuana. After a traffic stop on a suspended driver on Connellsville Street, both men, who were passengers in the vehicle, were found in possession marijuana.

Both were arraigned before District Justice Mark Blair and placed in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of bond.

Assault alleged

Adam Schartiger and Robert Johnson, both of Uniontown, reported to city police that two men assaulted them while they were walking on North Gallatin Avenue at 9:12 p.m. Saturday.

They reported that one of the men pulled out a knife and they both ran.

Teen apprehended

Richard Morgan, 15, of Pittsburgh was taken into custody after he was discovered near Lemon Wood Acres at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, city police said.

Morgan was wanted by the Monongalia County, W.Va., Sheriff’s Department. After he was taken into custody, he was turned over to Monongalia County authorities.

Michael A. Jones of Laurel Street reported to city police at 5 p.m. Saturday that someone threw a rock through his dining room window.

Criminal trespassing

Three juveniles and an adult were cited for criminal trespass after they were discovered inside 156 N. Gallatin Ave. at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, city police said.

Two female juveniles and one male juvenile were cited as well as Amber Lowry, 18, of Edgemont Drive.

Tires slashed

Lillie W. Brooks, 36, of Uniontown reported to city police at 2 a.m. Sunday that two tires were slashed on her vehicle while it was on North Gallatin Avenue.

Jodi Still, 24, of Cleveland Avenue was cited for disorderly conduct for an incident in the parking lot on North Gallatin Avenue at 2 a.m. Sunday, city police said.

John Campbell of Cleveland Avenue was cited for harassment for an incident that occurred on Morgantown Street at 1:11 a.m. Sunday, city police said.

Campbell allegedly yelled at Regina Thompson during the incident.

Theft from yard

Raymond Hull of Lenox Street reported to city police that various items were taken from his yard sometime Friday or Saturday.

Taken was a John Deere chain saw, a 25-foot tape measure, a Panasonic AM/FM cassette player, an undetermined amount of change from an ashtray, a six-cell Maglite flashlight and two hanging plants. The value of the stolen property is $1,000, police said.

Woman assaulted

Vladimir Stukov of East Main Street was cited for harassment for an incident that occurred at his home at 3:25 p.m. Sunday, city police said.

Stukov allegedly pushed Carol Stukov out of the apartment, grabbed her by the neck and slapped her on the back, police said.

Man cited

Keith Bass of Uniontown was cited for harassment for an incident that occurred at the intersection of Coolspring and Gordon streets at 10:09 p.m. Sunday, city police said.

Bass allegedly struck Denise Bass during the incident.

Machine damaged

A Coca-Cola machine on Pittsburgh Street in the parking lot of Teaz Tanning was discovered damaged at 6:12 a.m. Monday, city police said.

The door was pried open and damaged and all the pop was missing from the machine, police said.

Garage fire

The Uniontown Fire Department extinguished a garage fire on Lincoln Street at 12:40 a.m. Monday, city police said.

Owner Robert Craft said he had cleaned out the garage, and it did not have electricity.

The state police fire marshal responded.

Kitchen fire

The Uniontown Fire Department extinguished a kitchen fire at 336 Coolspring St. at 7:06 p.m. Sunday.

Jean A. Shaw told city police that she left a pot of grease on the stove. The state police fire marshal responded as well.
