Nila M. Coen Cross, 57, of Mount Pleasant R.D. 5, Pa., died Saturday, May 25, 2002, in UPMC Montefiore, Oakland. Pittsburgh, Pa. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie K. Cross Sr.; children: Lonnie K. Cross Jr., Mrs. Michael (Michele L.) Wray of Lewistown, Pa., and Mrs. John (Stacey L.) Bulebosh of Acme, Pa.; two grandchildren; brothers: Jim Coen and Kenny Coen both of Pine Grove, West Virginia; and sisters: Mrs. Gary (Nora) McDiffitt of Pine Grove, West Virginia, and Mrs. Gary (Norma) Dulaney of Weirton, West Virginia.
Arrangements were under direction of the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, Pa.

John H. Herwick, 80, of Connellsville, Pa., died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in Harmon House, Mount Pleasant, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Phillippi Herwick; daughter, Tonya Herwick of Norristown, Pa.; one grandson; and a brother, Edgar B. Herwick of New Jersey.
Friends will be received at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 201 Lincoln Avenue, Connellsville, Pa., on Thursday, May 30, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Gwendolyn “Gladys” Newell Baker Smith, 81, formerly of Hecla, Pa., died Friday, May 24, 2002, in Pasadena, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Smith of Pasadena, Texas; children: John F. Baker of LaPorte, Texas, Kenneth N. Baker of Mount Pleasant R. D. 5., Pa., and Mrs. Ray (Sherry M.) Wingrove of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; stepsons: Roy Smith and Richard Smith both of Derry, Pa., and Kenneth Smith of Florida; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a brother, Frederick Newell of Westminster, Colorado.

James G. “Bud” Stillwagon, 81, of Connellsville, Pa., died Saturday, May 25, 2002, in Highlands Hospital.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Judith A.) Fiesta of Connellsville; two grandsons; a brother, Allen R. Stillwagon of Mill Run, Pa.; and sisters: Evelyn Stillwagon Miller and Mrs. Don (Betty Stillwagon) McCoy of Connellsville.

She is survived by her mother, LuAnn Killinger Clair and stepfather, Calvin E. Clair of Mount Pleasant,Pa.; her father, Terry A. Webber Sr. and stepmother, Valerie Webber of Pleasant Unity, Pa.; a brother, Terry A. Webber of Daytona Beach, Florida; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Lou Noss Sultzer of Everson, Pa.; and step-grandparents, Albert E. and Ellen Hough Clair of Crabtree, Pa.
