Virginia Pearl Clark Creighton, age 91, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Cherry Tree Nursing Home in Uniontown. She was born August 20, 1910, in Catawba, W.Va., the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret (Conners) Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Creighton; five brothers, Clarence Queer and Lloyd, Charles, Oath and George Clark; and four sisters, Katherine, Lucille, Madeline and Mildred Clark.

Virginia was a former member of the Methodist Church of Thornton, W.Va., and was a Sunday School Teacher there.

She is survived by her sister, Nevada Bell, of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends were received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and will be received today until 10 a.m., when services will be held, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Ken Jones of Christ United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
