Theft reported

State police in Uniontown said $16.40 in coins left unattended on CRH Catering’s loading dock along Route 119 were stolen May 10 at 5:30 a.m. The coins were in bags that were in two milk crates. The money had been collected from vending machines, but was left unattended briefly when it was taken, police said.

Woman charged

State police in Uniontown said harassment and disorderly conduct charges were filed against Chris Ann Yowler, 35, of Uniontown for allegedly striking Sandra Renee Kicks, 33, of Uniontown about her head and shoulders Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. along Route 40.

Georges Twp.

Mower stolen

Somebody pushed a Mongoose bicycle to Lawrence Fuller’s house along Route 857, left it there and stole a Yard Machine self-propelled lawnmower from the side of his garage Wednesday, state police in Uniontown said. The bike can be claimed by contacting police.

North Union Twp.

Two cars collide

State police in Uniontown said vehicles driven by Amy Bloom, 20, of Uniontown and a 17-year-old Uniontown girl, who had a 6-year-old passenger, collided on Pittsburgh Street at Fairview Street at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday. All three were wearing seatbelts, but the 17-year-old suffered a minor injury.

Theft reported

A nozzle from a high-pressure washer owned by Jeannine Marie Santmyer of Everson Street was stolen before Tuesday, according to state police in Belle Vernon.

Tools stolen

State police in Belle Vernon said Scott Wivell of Smock reported that various hand and power tools were stolen from garage between May 8 and Monday.

Threats reported

State police in Uniontown said John Paul Lunt of Donora told them he was threatened by two women on McClellandtown Road at 4:45 p.m. Monday.

Theft reported

City police said a mentally challenged Fayette Resources resident struck staff worker Tom Downey several times in the stomach and head Wednesday afternoon at the 26 Kerr St. center. Downey refused medical treatment and a supervisor said the resident would be evaluated and possibly relocated.

Woman struck

A beer bottle was thrown from a red four-door car at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday and struck Lauri Tallant as she was looking for her lost dog along Main Street, city police said.

Hopwood

Bus accident

State police and Uniontown police and the city and Hopwood fire departments were dispatched to a vehicle accident with entrapment involving a school bus at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 40 and Pershing Street. There was only one student on the bus and no injuries were reported.

Fairchance

No one hurt in fire

Fayette County 911 officials said no one was injured in a garage fire on South Morgantown Street at 11:06 p.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters from Fairchance and Haydentown, as well as Fairchance Firemen’s EMS and Fairchance police, responded to the scene.

Fire reported

Firefighters from Farmington, Hopwood, Markleysburg, Ohiopyle and North Union Township were dispatched to a structure fire on Howard Road on Thursday.

Houses vandalized

Kimberly Soltis, 38, and Philip Fiesta, 70, both of Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, told state police that someone threw eggs at their homes between May 10 and 11.

Nicholson Twp.

Cornfield damaged

Frank Black of Smithfield told state police that someone drove through his cornfield along Lower Leap Road between May 9 and 12, causing damage to 480 square feet of corn.

German Twp.

Car damaged

Kathy Kelley of Smithfield told state police that between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 a.m. Thursday, someone threw rocks and damaged her vehicle in the Sweet Pea’s parking lot at the intersection of Routes 21 and 166.
